Over the last few months, we have been blown away by the amount of award nominations we have received, some of which saw entrants from across the country!
Kristin, our Managing Director, has been nominated in the Best Business Women Awards, the National Business Women’s Awards, and the Women’s Business Club Awards, while Individuality Swimming as a whole was nominated in both the Dorset Business Awards and STA Aquatic Excellence Awards.
Just being nominated for this many awards is an incredible achievement that truly reflects all the commitment and hard work that has been poured into our business, particularly by Kristin.
Since starting Individuality Swimming from nothing over 20 years ago, she has poured her heart & soul into her business. Seeing her hard work and success recognised beyond our walls by so many prestigious award companies fills us with pure pride.
A note from Kristin:
“I am so happy to see we have been recognised in so many ways for the value the business brings to children and families in Dorset. We have an amazing community of swimmers, and our customers are so loyal and positive – it is a privilege to be doing something so meaningful and making a positive difference in people’s lives.”
The outcome of all these nominations were as follows:
In the Best Business Women Awards, Kristin came home with the silver award for Best Business Woman Working with Children & Families!
The Women’s Business Club Awards saw Kristin as a finalist in the Business Mum of the Year and Female Founder of the Year categories.
At the STA Aquatic Excellence Awards we walked away as the UK STAr Swim School Provider of the Year!
We were named as a finalist in the Dorset Business Awards’ Scale Up category.
And, be sure to wish Kristin luck in the National Business Women’s Awards which will be taking place on the 15th November at the London Wembley Hilton!
We are all incredibly proud of the company we have created, the amazing team who work alongside us and the wonderful swimmers we work with – from babies just a few weeks old, to octogenarians, you have all helped us prove that you are never too old or too young to learn and love to swim! Thank you all.
