Individuality Training provides a variety of First Aid courses to equip you with the skills to utilize a first aid. Our First Aid courses addresses a wide array of emergency situations that may be encountered, qualifying you to effectively manage such incidents.

STA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work

Beginner 2 - equivalent to Swim England Stage 1/2
CIMSPA Accredited course
  • Created by STA’s first aid experts, providing you with quality training
  • Regulated by Ofqual and Qualifications Wales, and accredited by SQA Accreditation in Scotland
  • Training is in accordance with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982
  • Endorsed by CIMSPA, industry leaders in sport and physical activity
  • Can give you a head start when applying for jobs
  • Will give you in-depth knowledge and the confidence to potentially save someone’s life.

Prerequisites:
– Learners must be 16 years of age or above on the first day of the course. It is advisable that learners have a minimum of level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
– Learners must be able to kneel on the floor to deliver CPR.

STA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

Beginner 2 - equivalent to Swim England Stage 1/2

The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification will teach you how to deal with emergency situations and administer general first aid treatment, and is designed for people who appointed as a designated first aider in the workplace.

The course is ideal for those that are required to hold a first aid qualification but don’t require the more comprehensive First Aid at Work qualification, and covers all the main workplace first aid situations you may need to deal with, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, bleeding and wounds, along with other minor injuries.

Prerequisites:
– Be at least 16 years old.
– Be able to kneel on the floor to demonstrate CPR.

STA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid

If you’re a nursery nurse or childminder where being first aid qualified is a legal requirement of your job, or you’re just a parent or carer who simply wants peace of mind – the two-day Paediatric First Aid Award qualification is perfect for you.

The qualification is the most comprehensive of our paediatric first aid qualifications, and on the course you will learn how to deal with a wide range of first aid situations within an early years setting including: managing an unresponsive casualty, paediatric CPR, AED, choking, shock, bleeding and wounds, meningitis, hypothermia and heatstroke and anaphylaxis.

Prerequisites:
– Be at least 16 years old.
– Be able to kneel on the floor to demonstrate CPR.

STA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator

Beginner 2 - equivalent to Swim England Stage 1/2

The aim of the STA Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator qualification is to enable learners to be able to administer cardio pulmonary resuscitation, including the safe use of an automated external defibrillator as a single operator and as part of a team.

Prerequisites:
– Learners must be 16 years of age or above on the first day of the course.
– Learners should have a minimum of level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
– Learners must be able to kneel on the floor to demonstrate CPR.

STA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis

If you’re a nursery nurse or childminder where being first aid qualified is a legal requirement of your job, or you’re just a parent or carer who simply wants peace of mind – the one-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid Award qualification is the perfect foundation course for you.

The STA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis qualification prepares learners to hold the knowledge, understanding and skills to safely administer an adrenaline auto-injector unit in the workplace, at home or in a voluntary setting.

Prerequisites:
– Learners must be 16 years of age or above on the first day of the course.
– Learners should have a minimum of level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
– Learners must be able to kneel on the floor to demonstrate CPR.
